Isaac breathed a sigh when they came out. He hadn't really enjoyed that experience in the cave; he never had liked places like them. Even if he could control the element they were made up of. On their travels, he had learnt that the girls name was Mia, and she seemed to be a Mercury Adept. She wielded an Ankh which seemed to have Psynergy built into to it, too.

On the road, Mia had found Isaac healing a small cut he received from his own sword training, and began to teach him the ways of healing.

That night they had camp. Mia walked up to him. "Tomorrow we will reach Imil" She told him. "And from there we will enter the Mercury Lighthouse once we know everything is okay in the village. I may need you to help me heal some of the villagers" She told him. As she began to walk away, Isaac stopped her. "Thank you." He told her. Mia blushed and muttered a, "You're welcome". Oblivious to the fact that Isaac was edging closer to her.

Finally he was upon her. She looked up and saw him looking down on her. "Not just for that, but also my injuries" he told her. His face started creeping towards her. She looked down again, blushing. She muttered another "you're welcome" and looked up. Isaacs face came slowly, until they shared a kiss. Not one of those completely long ones where the lovers would fight each other's tongues, yet not one that lasted for half a second 'cause it was some kind of dare. They slowly broke apart, blushing.

Isaac stifled a yawn, and then, with one last look at Mia, went to bed, his heart pumping with adrenalin over what had happened previously.

They were finally upon the Lighthouse. Mia told him she would fix up one more person before she came. He was to enter it and go as far as he could. He stopped at a statue, and looked around for another way. Coming to no conclusion, he moved it out of the way with Psynergy, to reveal some kind of barrier. He tried everything on it, but would break it.

Then Mia came. She cast Ply and they advanced. On their journey they met numerous obstacles barring their way. Eventually they reached the top, where they found Menardi and Saturos deep in talk with Alex.

"You're sure we won't shrivel up once the star is in?" Menardi asked Alex. "Because if Saturos and I do, it will be a wonder if Jenna doesn't. She may become a strong ally, plus Felix will kill you. You know that." Alex shrugged. "It shouldn't, only weaken you." As if that concluded it, he went to snatch something from Menardi's hip. She moved.

"You're not getting the star now. Not until the two eavesdroppers have decided to leave" She cast a glance at Isaac's and Mia's hiding position. Isaac stepped out. "So you saw me much more easily this time." Isaac exclaimed, putting as much emphasis as he could on Mia to stay where she was, using his words to indicate that he was the only one there. "So, will "Saturos" fight me again?" He asked.

Saturos shook his head. "No, I think Felix should," he declared, casting a glance at the brown haired Adept. "He needs to prove himself." The two Venus Adepts looked horrified at the thought of fighting the other. Felix, shrugging, walked over to Isaac. "Nothing personal" He told Isaac, while drawing his sword.

As Isaac realised what was happening, he raised his hand and muttered something, and watched as Felix was raised high into the air from an Earthquake Psynergy spell. Felix swore, before trying to move up, until he was stopped by Alex. "You're too weak," Alex said. "Let me face him". And with that, Alex drew a short sword, similar to Isaacs Elfin Sword which he was drawing.

Knowing about what would happen, he charged at Alex, striking his left side. Then in a counter strike he swung at Alex's right side, however Alex was able to block this one. Jumping back, Isaac sent a Spire spinning towards Alex. Expecting something of the like; Alex sent his own Spire like missile speeding towards Isaac, however this one was made of Ice.

Isaac raised his blade. He felt a powerful surge of power release from it, and saw three wind blades speed towards Alex. Cuts appeared on his arms and legs where the wind hit. Alex gasped and threw his blade at Isaac, catching him in the stomach. Isaac then heard a new voice, similar to the one he heard in his battle with Saturos, Use me, I can heal you. Lifting his hand, Isaac saw a blue critter emerge, and it healed the wound Alex's blade left.

Pulling the blade out, Isaac raised them both high. As he slashed the elfin sword down, the wind emerged again. However, when he sent the other blade down, he saw the thing he saved from Saturos unleash an attack from it. The same attack that cleaved the boulder into two.

Alex was quicker this time. He jumped and raised his hand. Several Ice spires emerged and attacks Isaac. One of them caught the back of his hand, and Isaac screamed in pain as it went across one of the scars.

A blind fury emerged from a deep depth within Isaac, and along it greater pain than one could imagine. He looked down at his palm, and saw the blood shining so greatly he could see the glow on his palm. Then he felt it; great fire running through his veins. He raised his hand to the sky as it grew hotter, hoping moisture in the air would help him. It didn't.

However, then, slowly but surely, a great dragon of blue flames emerged from his hand. The pain ebbed away, and Isaac felt consciousness slowly disappear. But he had to stay awake. The dragon got faster, and faster. Until eventually, it flew down upon Alex, smothering him in flame. A great tornado of flame emerged from below him, his skin was melting past his bones. Until slowly it stopped, and Isaac closed his eye, seeing a great star shine close to him

Isaac awoke with his head in Mia's hands, a bottle pushed to his lips. Slowly he got up, and looked around. "What happened?" He asked her. She hushed him. "I'll tell you later" She told him in a loving voice. Knowing he would be at peace in her arms, he went to sleep...
